India Energy Storage Alliance
The India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) was launched in 2012 to assess the market potential of Energy Storage Technologies in India, through an active dialogue and subsequent analysis among the various stakeholders to make the Indian industry and power sector aware of the tremendous need for Energy Storage in the very near future. Several drivers like increasing share of renewables, supply-demand mismatch as well as transmission constraints, all add up to the Energy Storage roadmap.
Vision
To promote Electric Energy Storage (EES) technologies and applications in India by creating awareness among various stakeholders to make the Indian industry and power sector more competitive and efficient. To provide insights to technology developers and system integrators on the policy landscape and business opportunities in India through interactions with key stakeholders.
Conference
This year the conference will be held at the Kempinski Ambience Hotel, New Delhi, India on December 4-5, 2014.
